As design evolves, so do the tools that we use to create it. Our team is no stranger to iteration, with rapid prototyping being at the forefront of our product. But although Framer was built to give you a quick way to explore and express your concepts, we hadn’t connected the dots to an iterative feedback loop…until now. Introducing Framer Cloud — a workflow built for rapid iteration and team collaboration.
A full-circle product design and feedback loop
We kept things simple with Cloud, emphasizing a frictionless in-app workflow that connects to a beautiful new dashboard. Built-in notifications ensure a smooth save-to-share flow, which opens up a personal dashboard in a secure browser window. The entire experience is fluid, fast and completely in the cloud.
Framer Cloud is built to complement your workflow, not disrupt it. From the moment you import your Sketch artboard, animate with Auto-Code, connect screens with Flows and upload to Cloud, the entire workflow is now one continuous cycle. Simply hit the new Cloud button in your toolbar when you’re ready to get feedback on v1 of your prototype. This uploads your prototype to Cloud and generates a shareable link that is automatically copied to your clipboard. From here, you have the option to open your Cloud dashboard to edit details, view a clickable version of your prototype or distribute your shareable link for a second opinion.
Cloud makes it that easy to loop in teammates, get feedback and go back to the drawing board, as many times as you need.


Features built for a continuous feedback loop
Accessible at all times from the Mac desktop app, Framer Cloud features a project management dashboard for organizing and sharing prototypes. Simply log in via your favorite social account (Google, Facebook or Slack) to open up the dashboard in a new browser and view all your prototypes in one place.
Cloud boasts some added functionality that drastically speeds up the review cycle. Once a project is shared to Cloud, syncing happens in real-time, making it quick and easy to get the whole team up to speed. Don’t like an element of your latest design?
Rewind through all previous iterations of a design using Cloud’s Version Control feature, catalogued for your convenience by day and time of upload.


You can open up previous versions of your project in Framer for Mac or even share a link with teammates and clients, making for a quick and easy feedback loop. You’ll also have the ability to edit the accompanying information for each version you share, so your team can keep track of your progress. Share the link once and keep making changes. No matter how many updates you make, your original link shows the latest version. For security purposes, we’ve even added the ability to delete your prototypes from Cloud but keep them in Framer for Mac.
